Teresa Palmer Joins Point Break Remake

After Gerard Butler decided to drop out, a virtually unknown actor Luke Bracey has stepped in to fill his role as Johnny Utah (played by Keeanu Reeves in the original) alongside Edgar Ramirez (who will be taking over Patrick Swayze's role as Bodhi).

Recently, Ray Winstone has also joined this cast, maybe for the role of Pappas by Gary Busey previously?

And now, Teresa Palmer (Warm Bodies, The Sorcerer's Apprentice, I Am Number 4) is signed on to take the female lead, Tyler, who was played by Lori Petty.

I can't remember how the story goes now as it was too far back, so I'll have to watch it again. But going from such a big name like Butler to Bracey is quite a big move, not to mention the age difference between the two too.

Will the story get some updates as well then? I hope so, since there have been many other movies like The Fast And The Furious using the same plot points as Point Break. So now it may have to reinvent itself in order to stay current.
