That is by far the most badass and biggest, size-wise, Superman ever. I don't know how much has this image been digitally enhanced but I suspect none whatsoever. Henry Cavill has bulked up a lot more for Batman v Superman and he looks like, well, for lack of a better word... Superman.
A lot of people are saying that this is Superman standing on a rooftop of Gothan City (Batman's home). That does add to the tension of the impending battle between the two.
Director Zack Snyder has also come out to explain the "v" in the title, that instead of the traditional "vs", they want to keep it from being a "straight vs movie, even in the most subtle way".
Good job so far for DC in keeping us interested.
