You can even tell from this trailer the chemistry between the two ex-colleagues is palpable. So much so that I can believe they are in fact twins. And if anyone remembers, Hader's character here is a reminiscence of a very mild Stefan (one of Hader's most memorable characters from Saturday Night Live). I'm not saying he's recycling a character, but that I'm very eager to see what he can do on the big screen.
Written and directed by another newcomer, Craig Johnson; but the reason I have more faith in this director as opposed to the previously mentioned Dracula Untold, Johnson seems to have more consistent experience in the movie industry as compared to Gary Shore. Also, this isn't a big budget movie filled with CGI. It's more personal as it's written by Johnson himself, and it has more of an indie feel to it.
This isn't a typical comedy. It's more of a dramedy. And more importantly, I was laughing and chucking a lot throughout the 2 minutes. Add in Ty Burrell and Luke Wilson, things can only get better.
