Not so much of a rename, more of a spelling update.
Arnold Schwarzzeneger put out a picture of the title of the movie, Terminator: Genisys, on his Facebook announcing that the shoot is indeed a wrap.
Does it make a difference with the new spelling? No. Does it look cool? Depends on your perspective. I couldn't care less. I just hope that there's a reason for this change that will become obvious in the movie. I'm thinking something to do with a "system" of some sort. Otherwise, it's just confusing people with a different spelling.
Terminator: Genisys comes out on 1 July 2015, and will also star Jason Clarke, Emilia Clarke, Jai Courtney, J. K. Simmons and Lee Byung Hun.
