Max Borenstein To Return To Pen Godzilla Sequel
Whether you loved it or not, Godzilla was financially a huge success. Amidst the many problems in the movie, there was still much to celebrate for. This was one of the better reincarnations of the most famous reptilian monster to have graced the silver screen.
Now with Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures agreed to wait until director Gareth Edwards was finished with his Star Wars project before they began the production for Godzilla 2, which is about 5 years away; nevertheless, they are moving the project forward as much as they can. And rightfully so.
A big part of the problem in the first movie was actually the writing. So now as they announced that they are getting Max Borenstein to do the folllow-up sequel, I'm quite hesitant. Will this mean more of the same in terms of half-baked and lame expositions? Will this mean another slow first-half? Hopefully some lessons are learned.
