With the departure of Mila Kunis due to creative decisions made by Seth MacFarlane, who is back directing, co-writing, producing and voicing Ted; the female lead has gone to Amanda Seyfried who will play Wahlberg's love interest.
Now, the cast has also recruited Morgan Freeman into the fold. Though details of his character or the plot for this sequel is still largely unknown, but what we do know is that Ted will be married to a character named Tami-Lynn played by Jessica Barth.
I guess MacFarlane is really taking the existence of a talking plush toy to another level. It took me a few minutes to get used to a live teddy bear being a norm in that world in the first movie, and then I really got to love it as a whole; so I'm sure MacFarlane will find ways to do the same again in this sequel.
The movie is set to be released on 26 June 2015.
