I'm not a fan of Dreamworks' Madagascar, even less so for the sequel, the third one did better for me but I'm just not a fan of this franchise.
So when I saw the Penguins Of Madagascar poster months ago, I gave a sigh of frustration that the studio is just milking on the same brand name and not coming up with another original.
But when I saw this trailer that played before The Boxtrolls, I discovered a smile stamped on my face from start to finish. So I was pleasantly surprised that the trailer was so charming and humorous and made me interested to catch it when it comes out on 26 November later this year.
Most notable voice actor in this movie would be Tom McGrath who has been in all Madagascar movies as the head penguin, he was also the lead in the Penguins Of Madagascar cartoon series; plus he's been in a lot of other animated movies as well. They have also recruited Ken Jeong, John Malkovich, Peter Stormare and the new go-to guy for voice acting, Benedict Cumberbatch.
