Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper are teaming up for the third time in a period piece.
The interesting fact about this production is that the shooting started right after Silver Linings Playbook, even before American Hustle; but director Susanne Bier claimed that it was due to some careful and perfectionist editing on her part that delayed the release of the movie.
But now that it's completed, the release date has been set as 27 November 2014; just the right time frame for Oscar attention.
However, basing on this trailer alone, I am not that interested. I do not doubt that this could end up being an epic movie, but it may well be another boring and draggy movie like Australia. Maybe it will change my mind as the release date gets closer.
Nevertheless, Lawrence continues to impress me with the roles she has chosen. Not forgetting she chose this movie a couple of years ago; and at such a young age to be able to command the screen the way she does, you have to give credit where credit is due.
Lawrence's fans will be able to catch her twice later this year, in Serena and also in Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1.
