If you don't know Clerks, you don't know Kevin Smith; then it's about time you bring out the nerd in you and get some education!
The Weinsteins have decided to pass on funding for the long-awaited third movie to the Clerks series. And then its creator, Smith, decided to look for alternate source of funding.
Having failed to secure enough money last year for the 20th anniversary of the birth of Clerks, Smith instead secured enough funds to make Tusk which was just released last month. And with that money from Tusk, Smith recently announced that he can now proceed with the production of Clerks III.
Brian O'Halloran and Jeff Anderson will return as the lead duo while Jason Mewes and Smith will also reprise their sidekick roles, Jay and Silent Bob.
No release date, however, has been announced.
