Clint Eastwood is back again. And I am going to hesitantly say this, he could be back to form.
The last really great movie he did was Million Dollar Baby, and the last time he visited the war movie genre, he did Letters From Iwo Jima and Flags Of Our Fathers. So I'm thrilled that the first trailer to American Sniper has dropped, and even more thrilled that it looks amazing.
Starring Bradley Cooper, Sienna Miller and Jake McDorman from TV's Greek. This trailer looks like it's a 2-minute sequence taken from the movie itself. It's so intelligently cut and it stirs up emotion in the viewers; so much so that by the very end of the trailer, I got chills. The hair on my arms are standing.
This is how you know a trailer is great. It pulls you in from the get-go, hold your attention throughout; and you get so invested in it that by the time it ends, that's when the chills come.
This is a fantastic trailer.
