Star Trek 3 Brings In Claudio Miranda

A bit of good news for those who (probably not anyone I know directly since nobody cares at this point) are worried how the end to this rebooted Star Trek trilogy will do in the hands of first-time director Roberto Orci, well, he has just secured the help of a brilliant director of photography in Claudio Miranda.

Look at all the past work of Miranda's; even if you didn't like these films, the cinematography were stunning. The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button, Oblivion, and the one that got him an Oscar, Life Of Pi.

This is a brilliant move by Orci. Being a rookie, he made sure that he covers all his bases that he's unsure of, such as cinematography. And he really lucked out because Miranda is going to bring the visual aesthetics to the movie.

So even if Star Trek 3 bombs like TRON: Legacy, at least it looked beautiful while going down in flames.
