New Movies Out This Week

Being still away from home, I haven't caught any of the movies out last week. And this week there are 2 new movies being released. I just hope those 3 that I want to watch from last week will still be showing when the new schedule is out tomorrow.

1) Apparently Annabelle gets a sneak preview tonight. The Conjuring spin-off will see a whole new cast, writer and director.

Although there are no big names to lead this movie, the producers are banking on the success of the original movie to see how far this spin-off / prequel will go. It looks like a B-grade horror movie but it isn't meant to be. I'm curious to see if this will translate.

2) Dracula Untold

As Legendary Pictures set up its "monsters cinematic universe", it is still unconfirmed whether Dracula from this movie will be connected to that universe.

Promising some heavy special effects and a new take on the origin of Dracula, at first I didn't think this movie will be very good but this second trailer has given me new hope.

I'm also curious to see how well Luke Evans and Dominic Cooper will do on their won.

And also those bats turning into Dracula's wings (or so the poster would have led me to believe).
