After releasing 9 character posters almost everyday about 2 weeks ago, MGM and New Line Cinema has now revealed an international poster.
This poster features some of the main characters from the movie, and also Smaug!
But I think there may be too many elves in this one. This whole series is supposed to be about the dwarves so it would make more sense to feature more of them instead. Unless, the majority of the audience are like me, where I don't really care much for the dwarf race. Their way of life and culture never have interested me much - which is also why I wasn't all that impressed with the first Hobbit movie.
But one thing that pulled my focus in this poster was Smaug. And I do not think this poster is doing him any justice. Understandably, he may not be in this third installment all that much, but I think he deserves a poster of his own.
