Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels have both become greater actors in their own right since Dumb And Dumber. So it's great to see them back to some of the most beloved characters from their past - and they haven't missed a beat.
Their portrayals immediately picked up where they left off 2 decades ago. And those crazy and silly expressions came back like a flood gate opened.
Directed once again by the Farrelly brothers, Bobby and Peter, I enjoyed most of the jokes. Some of the things that came out of their mouths and minds are still hilarious. I could do without a few of those nasty gags but overall, they still made me laugh.
But to be honest, the second time around wasn't all that interesting. It was nice to revisit the characters after all this time, however, it was more of the nostalgia factor rather than a legit movie-going experience.
The acting between Carrey and Daniels still were fantastic. To watch them stay in those characters with those facial expressions impressed the heck out of me.
The addition of Rob Riggle is always a good idea. He always give subtle performances that is great at being a supporting character. And Bill Murray actually made a cameo in this movie. Now, this isn't a spoiler because you will never see him if he wasn't pointed out to you first. So I don't know why he would want to be in this movie at all.
Although Dumber And Dumber is a classic to some, I doubt Dumb And Dumber To would reach that kind of status. I still commend its title though.
