Australian horror The Babadook is causing quite a stir. It's been mentioned to me by a few people in the past few weeks and I've finally decide to check out its trailer...
I have to say, it looks very creepy after a very slow start. In the last 30 seconds, that's when a bit of hair on my arm started standing.
Created and directed by Jennifer Kent, this is her first full length feature. I'm always intrigued and very interested to witness the first movie of a new director (though Kent isn't that new in the industry).
With a close to perfection score on RottenTomatoes.com (though this is still without the international release results), The Babadook promises to be the best horror movie of the year.
