The new Dreamworks new animated movie has somehow slipped past my radar until I saw its first trailer at a local cinema. Even without clear audible audio, the visuals immediately caught my attention, especially the character Oh.
Both trailers look adorable. Jim Parsons's voice is unmistakable for those who catches him regularly on the TV series The Big Bang Theory, but he suits the character perfectly.
I'm less certain about Rihanna taking on the female lead. Watching the trailers I a still not that into her character just yet. Steve Martin is also in the movie to add some gravitas, though he's not prominently featured in these trailers.
The movie is directed by Tim Johnson, who also brought us Antz and Sinbad: Legend Of The Seven Seas - his only noteworthy movies to date as he has not done much. But if he knocks this out of the park then perhaps more opportunities will come his way. I liked Antz and Sinbad when they were released, by the way.
