It's probably on every serious actor's bucket list that they would like to work with Terrence Malick, at least once in their career.
This time, in Knight of Cups, the main cast includes Christian Bale, Cate Blanchett, Natalie Portman, Antonio Banderas and Imogen Poots.
This trailer clearly shows a Malick-style movie, and usually it's either you like it or you don't like Malick's movies. It's hard to find that in-between place. But it can't be denied that every shot and every frame feels like a masterpiece.
I for one wasn't too big of a fan for Malick's previous work, The Tree Of Life, in which it garnered a few Oscar nominations. So I'm not as excited for this movie even though with one of my favourites, Portman, in it. Still, the marriage of the score and the images makes this trailer look quite interesting.
