Samuel L. Jackson has been wanting to play the President of the United States for a while now, so I guess his wish finally came true.
However, I'm not sure about this movie after watching this trailer. The first 30 seconds looks cool. He's the president in Air Force One, something goes wrong, he's forced to evacuate the plane in mid air. And then we see who betrayed him - Ray Stevenson of course, he's already got the face for it.
But then the kid, Onni Tommila, came into the picture; and everything went south for me from there. It didn't look realistic or funny, and everything was over-the-top.
Written and directed by Jalmari Helander in his first full-length feature movie, some of the sequences look good but it really depends on the movie as a whole. Also starring Victor Garber and Felicity Huffman.
Not a Hollywood produced movie (I thought it was quite obvious from the trailer, but is that why Jackson finally got to play the President?), Big Game will be released on some time this year.
