Hawkeye Will Be In Captain America: Civil War
As expected, the roster for Civil War won't be just a few Marvel characters. There needs to be a good significant number in order to achieve at least some of the gravitas the source material had when it came to superheroes battling it out for their respective belief.
The movie gained a boost when the Spider-Man deal was completed, and the web-slinger will now be able to play the same torn role as he did in the comic books (though no word still on who the new Peter Parker will be - but one of the pivotal moments in the comic books was Spider-Man removing his mask in a press conference. Now if only Marvel can keep this casting a secret until the movie opens... fat chance).
This also led to some confusion as to what kind of a role Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) will now play because he was rumoured to have Spider-Man's role of not able to choose a side in the Captain America versus Iron Man camp.
Back in January, Anthony Mackie has confirmed to return and reprise his role as the Falcon. And now, it is also confirmed that Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye will also appear in Civil War.
The rest of the cast includes Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow, Sebastian Stan's Winter Soldier, Frank Grillo's Crossbones and Daniel Bruhl in a yet-to-be specified role.
Who else do you think will join the ranks? Maybe one or both of the twins (Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch) from Avengers: Age Of Ultron? Or will they make things interesting by including The Hulk?
