Pixar's new animated movie, Inside Out, has just released its second, longer trailer; giving us more of what the plot is going to be like.
I still love the first half, which is from the first trailer. It's the second half that kind of lost me. I am not buying into the concept of having two voices getting suck out of where they are and into the "long term memory". And it had to be Joy and Sadness, a bit too predictable on what's going to happen in that journey; and sure enough we see a little bit of their bantering with each other.
And if I were to be really picky, I'd question why in dad's head all the voices are male, in mom's head, all are female; but when it came to our protagonist, she has a mixture of male and female voices.
So now I'm not as interested in this movie as I was before, but I'm still holding out hope that it will be a fantastic movie. Amy Poehler leads this cast of voice actors, and Inside Out will be released on 19 June 2015.
