First Look At Jared Leto's The Joker

As production is underway with David Ayer's Suicide Squad, one of the most anticipated characters is The Joker portrayed by Jared Leto.

Much of the anticipation, or hesitation, comes in the heels of one of the most iconic performances of said character by the late Heath Ledger. Most fans considered that untouchable but, the show must go on, the character in itself is too iconic to be left out, and Leto has huge shoes to fill. But he is up to the task.

Looking at the photo released on Ayer's photo, it's quite impressive as Leto once again transforms himself for a movie role.

The maniacal expression, the tattoos, the cropped green hair and the iconic purple glove. This will be a very interesting Joker. Look at that grin on his forearm!

But looking at it more, I can't help but imagine if this picture would fit more into a "Twisted Metal" game character...
