At Star Wars Celebration Anaheim last weekend, Lucasfilm Vice President of Development, Kiri Hart, has announced that all the Star Wars spin-offs, those that are not numbered or not following the main storyline, will fall under the umbrella of "Anthology".
For example, the first spin-off movie will be titled, Star Wars Anthology: Rogue One. And all other standalone movies will follow suit.
Hart added that Star Wars is a place to be explored, and these new movies are a great place to do that.
