I didn't think an announcement would be out this soon, but Warner Bros. has found their new director for Wonder Woman after the exit of Michelle MacLaren just two days ago.
Patty Jenkins, who directed Charlize Theron to her first Oscar win in Monster, has been named the director.
I don't know her work enough to comment whether she is suitable, she hasn't done much after Monster other than a few TV series episodes here and there. But let's just hope Warner Bros. is getting this right this time.
