Zoolander 2 is going full steam ahead now. And after hiring comedian Kristen Wiig to join the cast, now Ben Stiller has gone and recruited Wiig's partner-in-crime in a lot of their Saturday Night Live sketches, Fred Armisen.
Armisen is one of the funniest comedians in Hollywood right now. If you see him popping up in any movies, he usually lifts up that scene quite spectacularly. However, his presence so far has been small doses in movies. I hope to see more of him in the near future.
Let's see what kind of role he'll be playing in Zoolander 2. A rival and more established male model? Perfect.
Zoolander 2 is directed by Stiller, will co-star Owen Wilson, Christine Taylor and Will Ferrell again, with the addition of Penelope Cruz; and will be released on 12 February 2016.
