A Jonny Quest live-action adaptation by Warner Bros. seems to be moving along smoothly, for today they have acquired Robert Rodriguez to direct.
Rodriguez will also co-write the script with Terry Rossio - who also wrote The Lone Ranger, Pirates Of The Caribbean franchise and the two Zoro movies.
Jonny Quest was an original Hanna-Barbera animated series that ran on TV from 1964 to 1965, and then revived again both in the 80's and 90's, along with comic books and video games.
No word yet on the release date for the movie.
