It has just been reported that Michael Keaton and Laura Dern, both Academy Award nominees, have been cast to star in a McDonald's biopic, titled The Founder.
The story will centre around a salesman named Roy Kroc who teams up with the two brothers, Richard and Maurice "Mac" McDonald, to launch the international fast-food chain, McDonald's.
Robert Siegel, writer of The Wrestler and the animated movie Turbo, has already written the screenplay and John Lee Hancock of Saving Mr. Banks and The Blind Side will direct. The Weinstein Co. will distribute.
The Founder will be released on 25 November 2016.
