Anyone who watched Edge Of Tomorrow will agree that it was a surprise hit. And it seems that Tom Cruise and director Doug Liman like working with each other. So now they are reteaming for a very different movie this time.
Cruise plays a real life CIA agent, Barry Seal, who has been unexpectedly recruited to run one of the biggest covert missions in US history as a drug runner in Central America back in the 80's.
The movie will also star Domhnall Gleeson, Jesse Plemons and Sarah Wright - and this will be the first time I see Wright not playing a ditsy airhead in a sitcom.
The script is written by Gary Spinelli, and the movie will be released on 6 January 2017.
