Warner Bros. Pictures has cast Academy Award winner Eddie Redmayne as the main lead in the upcoming Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them.
Created by J.K. Rowling as a spin-off to the Harry Potter franchise, Redmayne will play the central character, Newt Scamander, who traverse the lands and documenting all the magical creatures he finds; leading him to penning the Hogwarts School textbook of the same title.
The movie will also be Rowling's first foray into screenwriting, while the director will be David Yates - who has been the director of the last four Harry Potter movies.
The movie will be released on 18 November 2016.
