Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation Character Posters

Paramount Pictures has just released six character posters for their upcoming sequel to Mission: Impossible, Rogue Nation.

This is also in anticipation to a new trailer that will be released around midnight tonight local Southeast Asia time.

Of all the six posters, there were two that surprised me.

One is Alec Baldwin whom I wouldn't thought of having his own character poster. This tells me that he's going to have a bigger role than I initially thought. Usually when Baldwin is in an ensemble like this one, he wouldn't be in 3/4 of the entire movie, but if he's getting his own character poster then maybe he'll have a more significant role? I'm just reading too much into this, aren't I?

The other, I think - thoughI can't be sure as I only recognise him if he's got his beard, is Sean Harris from Deliver Us From Evil and TV's "The Borgias". His poster depicts a hitman or a right-hand man of sorts who probably will be causing some mayhem and problems for Ethan Hunt and team.

The other posters with Tom Cruise, Jeremy Renner, Ving Rhames and Rebecca Ferguson were as expected. But these posters don't really say a lot. Especially Baldwin's which looks like a badly designed Photoshop work.

Only Cruise and Renner's posters look more interesting. There's something about Renner's that I really like, with his sunglasses and the London Underground logo behind him, and the words "Go Rogue" fits in nicely into the composition.
