Director Joe Swanberg has recruited two of his cast members from his 2013's Drinking Buddies to star in his new movie, which is also co-written by one of them, Jake Johnson.
With Jake Johnson leading a modest line-up with smaller roles for bigger names like Orlando Bloom, Anna Kendrick and Sam Rockwell, this indie film looks interesting enough from its first trailer. Every time they cut to the digging scene, I find that it gets funnier and funnier.
Digging For Fire opens on 21 August 2015.
