From the opening of this trailer, it reminded me of Titanic. The tone, the feel, the shots of the ship; there's that epic feel to it. Not to mention it's ultimately a love story.
But this here is another trailer that showed too much of the whole movie plot. I felt like I was watching a mini-movie again, in a way that doesn't entice me to go watch the actual movie.
Starring Saoirse Ronan, Michael Zegen and Domhnall Gleeson. The movie is directed by John Crowley, whose work I'm not familiar with, but if this trailer is anything to go by, he seems very competent.
The script is written by Nick Hornby, a writer known for Reese Witherspoon's Wild, but more so his novels like About A Boy and High Fidelity.
The movie will be released at the end of the year.
