James Horner's Final Score Was A Surprise
James Horner, the legendary and acclaimed musical composer who lost his life last month to another plane crash, left a surprise for everyone.
While the world thought that his final work was with Antoine Fuqua's Southpaw, today the director revealed through Movies.com that Horner has actually completed the score for his upcoming film, The Magnificent Seven, in secret.
In his statement, Fuqua said, "And I just found out a few days ago - his team flew out here, to Baton Rouge, and they brought me all the music for The Magnificent Seven. He already wrote it for me based on the script. He did it all off the script because he wanted to surprise me. I thought it was a gift or something."
Definitely an emotional moment and I'm sure Fuqua will make full use of the score which was purely an inspiration. I can't wait to hear it.
The remake of the remake of The Magnificent Seven will be released on 13 January 2017.
