Ice Age 5 Gets Title And New Release Date
The new sequel for Ice Age by 20th Century Fox has just released its official title. This fifth movie will be titled Collision Course.
But Fox has also moved the release date back by a week because they decided not to go head-to-head against Sony's Ghostbusters reboot. So now the release date is 22 July 2016.
I don't really care about this franchise anymore. If they stopped producing any more sequels, I won't be crying over it. The last one was just alright for me. I feel this franchise has ran its course and should just be retired.
But, money talks. If it still makes the studios money, if the potential for more money is still high, then it will be made.
John Leguizamo, Ray Romano, Denis Leary and Queen Latifah will be back to voice the main characters.
Mike Thurmeier is back in the director's chair, but this time sharing it with Galen T. Chu; from a script written by Michael J. Wilson, who also wrote the first story for the first installment.
