Even though we're not getting the movie into our shores and even though I haven't seen the movie but the Straight Outta Compton star, Jason Mitchell, has been getting rave reviews for his standout performance as Eazy-E.
Yesterday, Universal and Legendary Pictures has revealed their desires to work with Mitchell again for their upcoming retelling of King Kong in Kong: Skull Island. Variety has reported that Mitchell is in final talks to play a pilot for Skull Island.
If successful, Mitchell will join fellow Compton cast-member Corey Hawkins who is already on board, along with Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, Toby Kebbell, Brie Larson, John C. Reilly and Tom Wilkinson.
The movie will be directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts and will be out on 10 March 2017.
