Back in March, we first heard that Steven Spielberg was getting busier and busier as more and more titles are attached with his name to not only produce, but also direct. Those titles included Ready Player One.
I made an estimated guess that this movie will more likely be slated for 2017, and today we have confirmation from ComingSoon that Warner Bros. Pictures has announced the date to be 15 December 2017.
The movie, which will be an adaptation from the novel by Ernest Cline - which I should pick up, will be co-produced by Village Roadshow Pictures and DreamWorks Pictures.
This will also mark Spielberg's return to Warner Bros. since 2001's A.I. Artificial Intelligence.
