Karen Gillan has been confirmed to join Tom Hanks in James Ponsoldt's new film, The Circle, as reported by Deadline; becoming the last leading role to have filled up.
The movie also stars Emma Watson and John Boyega.
Gillan is reportedly as playing a warm, cute, goofy and intelligent member of The Circle; an organisation that links everyday-user's personal emails, social media, banking and purchasing with their operating system.
Sounds to me that the "warm, cute, goofy and intelligent" part suits Gillan very well.
Still no word yet on a release date for The Circle.
