With sequels bringing back movies as old as 35 years since their first release like Mad Max, Renee Zellweger will once again bring us into the world of Bridget Jones' Diary.
Makes sense for her too as that was one of her biggest hits and lately she is nowhere to be found.
Joining her is Colin Firth, reprising his role for the third time as well, and also Patrick Dempsey who is newly added today, according to Deadline.
Unfortunately, Hugh Grant will not be back. Sharon Maguire, however, is coming back to direct. She did not return for the first sequel which did not do as well when compared to the first one. And like Zellweger, she also has not been doing a lot of movies lately.
Production will begin in the UK early next month but no fixed date yet for the movie's release.
