I had heard a second sequel to the 2008 hit, Ip Man, was in the words some time ago. Now, there's finally a teaser from Pegasus Motion Pictures YouTube channel, and a poster from Donnie Yen himself.
Yen once again lead the cast, with Lynn Hung reprising her role from the first two, while Kent Cheng is also back from the previous sequel.
The new villain this time, as can be seen in the teaser, is Mike Tyson. Hopefully he doesn't need to do too much acting but just grunt and fight. Then again, when has there ever been an epic two-dimensional villain?
Wilson Yip is back to direct and Edmond Wong is back with a screenplay. So with all the key players back in place, I have high hopes for this; especially when Ip Man 2 was five years ago.
The movie will be out on 24 December 2015. I'll definitely be taking time out from Star Wars: The Force Awakens to catch this.
