Stan Lee, creator of many of our favourite Marvel superheroes such as X-Men, Hulk and Spider-Man; has created a brand new Chinese female superhero.
Chinese production and distributor, Fundamental Films, and Stan Lee Global Entertainment will produce the movie, titled Realm, according to ComingSoon.
Li Bing Bing, not to be confused with Fan Bing Bing is what I tell myself, will star as the lead in Realm. Her recent credits include both previous installments of Transformers and Resident Evil - Transformers: Age Of Extinction and Resident Evil: Retribution.
The script is being written by Alex Litvak, who has only written Predators and The Three Musketeers - both of which did not do well at the box office, especially the latter.
It will be interesting to see who they can get as the director for this seemingly verging on ridiculousness of an idea. Fundamental Films probably paid Stan Lee for a truck load of money to come up with a throwaway character that they can try to turn it into a franchise.
So I await to be proven wrong. No word yet on a release date as of now.
