George Clooney Set To Direct Coen Bros' Suburbicon

It has been reported that George Clooney has been eyeing to direct Suburbicon for over a decade, and now it's finally happening, according to Deadline.

Suburbicon boasts a script written by Joel and Ethan Coen, is a 1950's "noir drama in the vein of Coens' breakout film 'Blood Simple'". Clooney should be playing a key role in the movie if he hasn't changed his mind over the years.

The movie will also be produced by Clooney's long-time producing partner, Joel Silver.

To me, Clooney can do no wrong when it comes to a project with the Coen brothers. His previous movies with them like Intolerable Cruelty, Burn After Reading and O Brother, Where Art Thou? were some of my favourites from the actor-director. And he's got one more with them coming right up, Hail, Caesar!, and the trailer for it looks brilliant.
