Johnny Depp To Join Edgar Wright On Neil Gaiman Project

Edgar Wright's name is popping up again as his next couple of projects take flight.

This next one (after Baby Driver) will be an adaptation of a Neil Gaiman's 2013 children novel, "Fortunately, The Milk". The movie supposedly will take on the same title.

Today, Variety has reported that Johnny Depp is in final negotiations to headline the movie, presumably playing the father to the boy and his sister.

This will be a very exciting project to look forward to. Just to imagine a Wright-directed, Gaiman-written movie. I'll hold a bit of reservation for Depp being in this movie for now because I don't want to see him acting all weird again; but if he's only going to kind of bookend the movie, then he could be a great addition.

No word yet on a release date.
