Steve Zahn Joins War For The Planet Of The Apes

I believe 20th Century Fox has settled on the official title, War For The Planet Of The Apes.

So far we only know Andy Serkis will be back to reprise and reanimate Caeser the ape from the last installment. The rest of the cast are all new names so far with Woody Harrelson to be playing one of the human characters. My guess, he's the loony bad guy that wants to kill off all the apes.

TheWrap has announced today that Steve Zahn has been signed on to play one of the apes. Zahn will probably play a new ape that has joined the colony, and of course, we still do not know for certain that Koba, played by Toby Kebbell, is truly dead. He may be back to cause more mayhem in War.

Matt Reeves will once again be back to helm the project, as well as provide for the script together with Mark Bomback. Both of whom were part of the writing team for Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes.

The movie will be out on 14 July, 2017.
