James Wan Recruits Conjuring 2 Writer For Aquaman
It's has been almost six month now since James Wan was announced by Warner Bros. as the director for Jason Mamoa's DC superhero, Aquaman.
And now, according to The Hollywood Reporter, Wan has brought on his Conjuring 2: The Enfield Poltergeist collaborator and writer, David Leslie Johnson, to assist in bringing the project to fruition.
There actually has been a few other drafts for the script to date; and Johnson will likely do some rewrites on the selected one, or could be a mixture of both, and move forward from there.
Johnson is no stranger in the Warner Bros. arsenal of writers as he's previously worked on Red Riding Hood and Wrath Of The Titans, not that those are good indications to go by. But if Wan trusts him from his experience with The Conjuring's sequel, then why not.
The movie is still a ways away from its release date of 27 July 2018 so there's still time to improve on the script.
