On one end you have Dwanye Johnson teaming up with Kevin Hart. Now that has the interest meter flying high.
On the other, it's Melissa McCarthy teaming up with Kristen Bell. No sparks flying yet, but this first trailer has kept my interest for the movie up.
I think this character of McCarthy in The Boss has the potential to be very different from her usual comedy shtick. There are a couple of scenes in this trailer that caught me off guard and had me laughing. So if the next trailers are still entertaining, I'll be looking for this movie when it comes out on 8 April 2016.
Starring McCarthy, Bell, Peter Dinklage, Kathy Bates and Cecily Strong. With characters created by McCarthy, she co-wrote the script with husband Ben Falcone and Steve Mallory. The movie is directed by Falcone.
