Lionsgate has released the first poster and trailer to the third movie in The Divergent Series, Allegiant.
The series has gone from okay to poor and has forced me to give up on it. I don't even remember if Allegiant was the third or last movie, and had to look it up.
The trailer too did not do anything for me. Naomi Watts' monologue in the beginning was bad, the dire situation that they are supposed to be in did not come through, even such a fine actor like Jeff Daniels could not make me believe that Shailene Woodley's Tris is "the only one".
The only thing one that still have some spark left in him is Miles Teller, but he plays such a small role in these films. I'll also say that the final segment of the trailer where the heroes are flying on this small ship looks quite interesting.
I just hope this third installment can entertain. Director Robert Schwentke is back for seconds, and the movie comes out on 18 March 2016.
