Good news for DC and Wonder Woman fans. According to ComingSoon, Warner Bros. Pictures have announced that principal photography has begun with director Patty Jenkins.
This means that we're one step closer from this movie becoming a reality with Gal Gadot, for better or worse.
Also announced was the main cast for the movie. It will feature Chris Pine, Robin Wright, Danny Huston, David Thewlis, Ewen Bremner, Said Taghmaoui, Elena Anaya and Lucy Davis. And we only know for sure right now that Pine will be playing Steve Trevor.
Nicole Kidman was one of the biggest names previously reported as eyeing for a role in the movie, possibly playing Wonder Woman's mother or the main antagonist; but no word yet if she's confirmed or rejected the role.
