Only his second directorial, Academy Award-winning writer William Monahan brings us a new thriller that begins and ends in the Mojave desert.
Starring Oscar Isaac and Garrett Hedlund who got mixed up somehow and wants to kill each other, on the surface this looks like a plain and simple revenge movie - but that's exactly what I said about The Gift and look at where that left me.
Coming from Monahan, with actors of these calibre, I'm going to go out on a limb and say that there's more to this story than anything but plain and simple. And also, I did not just see the final gunshot finding its target and killing him in this trailer too.
But because Mojave will be out on 22 January 2016 - where crappy movies get released, everything that I'm afraid of may be true for the movie... Hopefully not but we'll see.
