Very quietly The Weinstein Company are releasing their marketing for Jane Got A Gun, a movie that has been plagued with problems ever since casting. The only constant was and is Natalie Portman as the lead actress.
Now she's joined by her Star Wars co-star Ewan McGregor and soon-to-be A-lister Joel Edgerton.
I haven't heard much about this movie, other than a trailer that came out a few months ago but with no other marketing material announced. Though one quick search and I found some character posters to go with the trailers.
Directed by Gavin O'Connor, who also directed Warrior, the movie will be released on 29 January 2016.
So far, the trailer looks good and I'm interested to see this movie. But with a release date in January - the months where crappy movies get released - I can't help but wonder if the studio has lost hope for this movie already.
