According to The Wrap earlier this week, Scarlett Johansson is in final negotiations to star in Sony Pictures' upcoming R-rated comedy, Move That Body.
Sony has recently acquired the script to the movie which was in the 2015 Black List of unproduced screenplays. The summary for the script reads as follows:
"Five friends rent a beach house in Miami for a bachelorette weekend and accidentally kill a male stripper."
It immediately reminds me of Very Bad Things from 1998, which wasn't as good as it should have been. But I was already smiling at the end of the summary so the premise is still a good one.
No word yet on a release date for the movie. But Johansson is one star that definitely has the pull factor still. So she can lead this movie, no problem.
