Mark Wahlberg, during an interview with Cinepop, has confirmed that he will return for Transformers 5; continuing the story directly from Transformers: Age Of Extinction.
Perhaps Nicola Peltz and Jack Reynor will follow suit as well reprising their previous roles, but Michael Bay is still looking to come back to direct yet again, much to my chagrin.
The only bright spot (maybe) is the script from the result of the writer's room that Spielberg and Bay created in order to give some creative life into the franchise.
No word yet on a release date.
